My practice explores the meeting point between natural forces, inner perception, and the more subtle, otherworldly aspects of experience. It draws loosely from Taoist ideas of flow and spontaneity and Buddhist approaches to clarity and presence, not as illustration but as a parallel to how the work unfolds.

The process is a continual negotiation between control and surrender, allowing materials, chance, and intuition to guide what emerges rather than imposing a fixed outcome.

The surfaces are built through layered resin, metallic pigments, and textured strata that shift with light, position, and time. These subtle changes create a sense of instability and depth, where the work reveals itself slowly and never quite settles into a single state.

The pieces often function as thresholds, suggesting a space just beyond the visible where the natural world, the internal landscape, and something quietly mystical converge. The intended experience is contemplative and spacious, offering a moment of pause that invites reflection and transformation.
